About

Hello again! Welcome to another Wakefield City High Blog, designed to help language learning, carrying on the good stuff that was set up at cityhighmfl.blogspot.com. Feel free to leave comments and upload stuff!

In addition, this is where I tell you all about myself, Mr. Hill. Trouble is, most of the people coming to look at this site will already know most things about me from the other blog site, so I will have to try and impress you with something new… Here goes…

1. I love football and hockey. Darlington, St. Etienne and Leeds Carnegie Hockey Club to be more precise.

2. Faustino Asprilla is a legend. And apparently some people think I look like him from back in the day…. spot the obvious difference though…

3. I like penguins. The funny little animals and not the biscuits. I do like the biscuuits, but they’re not my favourite. My favourite biscuiut is the fig roll. Just like the other teachers at Wakefield City High, Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. Harrison.

4. I am quite accident and injury prone – hence the scar above my eye and the funny noises that come from my right knee.

5. I like the colour yellow.

6. I once was scouted and trialled for Nottingham Forest FC, back in the good old days when Brian Clough was the manager.

7. I was voted European Children’s Courier of the Year in 2001, whilst working as a holiday rep for Eurocamp.

8. I have a brother called Stephen, who is 5 years younger than me, but five times bigger than me. He is a rugby and cricket playing brute.

9. I have two best friends. One is a sensible lad called John who lives in London, the other is a mentalist called Matthew, who lives in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

10. I went to school with a lad who now plays rugby for England, the current British Rally Champion and the producer of legendary Children’s TV news programme ‘Newsround’. And a mentalist called Matthew.

One Response to “About”

  1. Now, be careful with your feedback and comments on these particular and peculiar nuggets of information… Also, make sure that you leave your name alongside your comment and I will respond in writing to your observation… No anonymous commenting I’m afraid !
