Welcome to all our new Year 7 pupils to the Wakefield City High School Blog! You’ve successfully managed to stumble upon your own specific page within the blog!
Over the course of the year, all the activities and presentations that we do in class will be made available for you to view and learn from at home. All you need to do is keep a look out on the main page for posts that myself, Mrs. Barnes or Mrs. Harrison make, that are aimed at you – they will normally include ‘Year 7′ in the title.
This specific page allows you to ‘chat’ to your teachers – ask them questions about things you don’t understand in class, but don’t want to ask in front of others, or just write and tell us how good we are!

Well…. 21 = ‘van – tay – un’
30 = ‘tront’
31 – ‘tron – tay – un’

Hi Cody and Carys… Good work on using the blog to ask questions for help!!
Well for starters with the talk phrases Cody… as you go through the presentation, try and remember the actions as they will help the most… if you need a little extra help remembering, come along and see me on Thursday lunchtime in my my room for a bit more help…
and for the pronunciations Carys… try…
ciseaux – scissors – “see-sow”
and
cahier – exercise book – “cai-eee-ay”

If anyone would like any extra help with the phrases, or anything else, I will be doing a help session on Thursday… The place was going to be in my room in school, but will now have to be in CHIP / Withdrawal on Thursday lunchtime, due to me being on CHIP duty…
CHIP is on the top corridor of school, opposite Mr. Stead’s form room (Room 6) for those who don’t know where it is!

I was shocked about the score. It was well impressive, i wasn’t expecting such a good overall score especially as it was my first test.

About the test i think i did really good an i cant belive that im actually still in the test AND the ruler giver out.

hi sir i am worried i am falling behind things as i have got preshure added on in H1 i was wondering if i could move down a H it would be great help as no preashur would be added after easter holday would be my start and i think it would improve my behaviuor as well as work rate so please may i move down to H2 thank you
